My name is Zinah Samona and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Michigan. I have graduated from Oakland University with a bachelor's degree majoring in psychology and minoring in sociology and I hold a master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. 

I have experience working with diverse individuals with different mental health related issues; such as anxiety related disorders, depression, stress management, ADHD, life transitions, self-esteem issues, identity issues, anger issues, grief/loss, parenting struggles and relationship issues.

As a mental health therapist, I believe that every individual is unique. Therefore, my counseling style differs from one client to another; however, my core counseling style is always about building respect and trust between us by setting up realistic treatment goals.
